Do you feel overwhelmed? Are you struggling to meet your child’s needs as well as your own?
In this five hour workshop for parents you will learn evidence based skills and resources to help you better understand and regulate your child’s nervous system as well as your own.
You will also learn about coregulation, how to attain this and why it is so important in supporting the nervous system.
The inspiration for this group came from my own experience raising my two boys, both who have required support for additional needs.
I work from a neurodiversity affirming approach and provide a safe, trauma informed, person centred, confidential space for all who choose to attend.
THE COURSE WILL INCLUDE:
Psycho - education which draws from the work of Stephen W. Porges
and Deb Dana on Polyvagal Theory
Vagus nerve toning breathing technique
Mind-body movement technique
Guided mindfulness meditation
Video resources of all these techniques, as well as a link to binaural beats music, will be available to you after completing the workshop. You will also receive one follow up email check in.
